Met with the personal trainer...

So, I met with the personal trainer, and he gave me a brief look over and took down my details...

There is great news in the three months since I last weighed myself I am down from 23.5stone to 19stone 8.... He says before I start on July 2nd, he wants me to try to loose the 8lbs....

He gave me very brief advice on diet... and told me how much it is to join their 24/7 gym- £17.99 a month - which works out cheaper than the leisure centre... so I will set that up and get ready to loose loose loose this flab....

Positive Mental Attitude

So, I am living my life to the fullest now from July 1st... I am busy organising things. I got rid of a friend from facebook because she was pulling me down with her negative mental attitude.... because:

She was bringing me down by saying things like people were posting too much 'sappy' things like quotations and that basically I was irritating. So no, this relationship did not nurture who I am trying to let myself be.

The six year plan is:

  • 1/2 year- Loose at least 10% of body weight/ be able to do exercise for 15mins without getting out of breath/learn to drive.
  • 1 year- Loose 20% of body weight/ be able to do exercise for 30 mins without getting out of breath/volunteer at a school/pass driving test.
  • 1 and 1/2 year- 40% of body weight lost/ be able to exercise for 45 mins without getting out of breath/volunteer at a school.
  • 2 year- 60% of body weight lost and able to exercise for 60 mins without getting out of breath. Pass my access course/get into university/volunteer at a school.
  • 2 and 1/2 year- Tone up and start taking part in races as a walker.
  • 3 year- Take part in marathon and finish in under 6hrs/pass year 1 of university/volunteer at a school.
  • 4 year- Take part in marathon and finish in under 5hrs/pass year 2 of university/volunteer at a school.
  • 5 year- Take part in marathon and finish in under 4hrs/finish and pass university/get into PGCE program/volunteer at a school.
  • 6 year- Take part in marathon and finish in under 3.5hrs/ pass PGCEr/volunteer at a school.

After year 6 I plan to specialise in special needs teaching/KS2 teaching.

My goals for today are:

-Organise a meeting with the personal trainer.
-Write a schedule for the summer that can be printed and laminated for Joshie.
-Go for a half hour walk with the dogs.
-Write a plan for the entire house as to what to keep/sell/donate/bin on July 1st.

\(^_^)/ So I'm going to go do all those now \(^_^)/

Preparing to get back to fitness...

Hi there people,

I am Chris, a single mum from Northern Ireland.

I am starting this blog to keep myself accountable while aiming to get back to fitness.

I currently sit at:

Weight: 330lbs / 23stone 8lbs
BMI: 56.6
Top : 26 / 48ee
Bottom: 26-28
Fitness level: Minus one aka I get out of breath going DOWN the stairs.

My aim is that in three years I will be at:

Weight: 120lb / 8stone 8lbs
BMI: 20.6
Top: 10-12
Bottom: 12-14
Fitness level: Able to walk the Belfast marathon in under six hours.

My first [short term] aim is that I can loose:
-42lbs / 3stone and
-undertake 15mins of exercise without getting out of breath.

I have decided to enlist the aid of a personal trainer, who can tailor my diet/exercise to my needs.

And although I am not getting married this is the package I am interested in £250/10 sessions= £25 a session which is great value-

The diet / exercise will begin on July 1st 2012 when I can have ongoing childcare for my son, Joshie.

My targets for today were:

-Begin a blog about fitness...
-Contact a personal trainer...

And I got those done...
